The foremost library for radio, television, and film scripts has its home in the ground floor of the 4-story Writers Guild headquarters. Located across from the famous Los Angeles Farmers Market, one of the goals of the new library is to more publicly represent writers and highlight their contribution to film and television. The library is conceived of as an inner sanctum: the "box" inside defines the Reading Room -lined with rich walnut to create an intimate place of refuge. Accessory functions of public lounge and accessory rooms line the perimeter of the reading room box which is clad in a custom wallpaper collage of famous script quotes- visible from the well-traveled streets outside.
