This is a rehabilitation and addition to John Byer's Zimmer House (c.1924). The modestly scaled, central courtyard house sits on the bluff with views across the Riviera Country Club to the Santa Monica. We tried to maintain the scale of the original residence while still accommodating the needs of our client. The gardens and courtyard were redesigned to be consistent with a California courtyard house of that era, with a fountains and beautiful pebble mosaic paving.
